5km walk or run on a totally new and exciting course in Rathfarnham, Dublin The Event –
It is a 5km walk or run on a totally new and exciting course in Rathfarnham, Dublin. Starting time 9.15am on Sunday 8th May. It finishes in St. Enda’s park which is the location of the Patrick Pearse School/ Museum. Every finisher will get the special collector’s item medal. You can tell by the image on the medal with part of the Constitution – this is something unique & significant to remember the 1916 commemorations. Please note – it is already over 1/3 full

 The Charity
I’m pretty sure you have never heard of this charity – primarily because it is based in Obera, Argentina. It was started by Divine Word Missionary priest Fr Liam Hayes RIP. I (Eoin Ryan) had the privilege of working there doing voluntary work for 3 months back in 2000. All the proceeds from this event will go to this charity. St Teresa Obera support fund is an Irish run home for abandoned & disabled people in Argentina. The poorest of the poor. Irish charity no is CHY17476.

The Organisers
You may be aware that I (Eoin Ryan) work at organising races. I have asked people and businesses to come on board and, like me, do this free of charge. That helps maximise the money for the charity. The charity is close to my heart and had a very positive effect on my life. So a big thank you to anyone who contributes time, money or volunteers to help. Special thanks to the OPW, South Dublin Coco, DLR Coco and An Gardai.
