Four people. One goal: 100km in 36 hours Be part of something amazing! TRAILTREKKER challenges your team of four to walk a 100km cross-border route through beautiful Irish terrain in 36 hours.

This is not a relay! Your team will start the route together, walk through each checkpoint together and finish together, trekking by day and through the night.

The route will begin in the stunning Donard Park, Newcastle, Co Down. The signed trail consists of ten sections, each approximately 10km apart. After each section, your team will check-in and stop for refreshments before heading onto the next section. The route includes sections of the Mourne Way, the Ring of Gullion, Co. Armagh and the hills of the Cooley Peninsula, Co. Louth. Your team will also be ferried across Carlingford Lough in a small boat! The welcoming finish line is located in the picturesque village of Carlingford, Co Louth. Be prepared for undulating, rugged forest trails, picturesque country roads, short sections of challenging mountain terrain and many superb views along the way! Each TRAILTREKKER team is asked to raise a minimum of €2,000 or £2,000 in sponsorship. The funds raised by teams will help change the lives of many poor families and communities for the better.
