Race 3 The Morris Oil Piltown 10Km hi all, after a fantastic Champion Kiely Ballyneale Race last Friday, which saw a record entry of 208 take to the start line, Race 3 in the Outfield SPorts 3 Counties Challenge is almost upon us. Race 3 in the Outfield Sports 3 Counties Challenge ,the Morris Oil Piltown 10Km Roadrace, takes place on Friday 17th July @ 7:30 in the scenic grounds of Kildalton College, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny (4 miles from Carrick on Suir). The race, organised by Carrick on Suir A.C.-Roadrunners, is in its second year and last year proved a big success. The race starts in the College grounds and passes by a picturesque Lake, before heading around the roads of Piltown, and ending in front of the 17th Century House in Kildalton. The race is quite flat and fast (last years winning time was 30:48).
As per the other races in the series, entries will be taken on the night from 6:00 at the Piltown G.A.A. Club.or you can enter online at www.runireland.com. Run 3 out of the 4 races to receive a commemorative t-shirt. Changing and shower Facilities are available in the G.A.A. Complex. looking foward to seeing you there.
