The Valley Ring 10 Mile Road Race Bantry AC is launching “The Valley Ring “its inaugural road race in the Mealagh Valley outside Bantry on Feb 14t/h 2010.

Organiser Geraldine hopes that "The Valley Ring "event can combine fun runners, joggers, club athletes and internationals competing in this event The race will have specific emphasis on promoting physical activity and introducing newcomers to the sport of running and initiatives with Bayside Joggers group set up in June 09 to encourage,support and train local ladies to participate in road races from 5km to marathon and individual training beginning in the New Year. So put Feb 14t/h on your running /New Year resolution calendar and take part in what will be a very special road race through the Mealagh Valley Chocolate for everyone at the finish as well as refreshments in the local community hall.
