Hi everyone I hope the training is going well! With just over a week to go, preparations for the race are well underway! We’re very excited this year because it’s our second year and despite the difficult times we’re in registration has being going very well!

Talk to Joe’ Liveline Presenter Joe Duffy will officially start the North Leitrim Glens Run on Saturday September 10th at 12 noon. Joe has kindly offered to launch this major event and is sure to help get the atmosphere going on the day.
We need the community out along with athletes from neighbouring counties and across the country to create an atmosphere and to make this a genuinely hospitable, community event which also focuses on health and fitness and promotes our the local area. The feedback from last year’s run was so positive regarding the professional approach, the lovely scenery, along with the delicious home-made food and warm welcome.
So from every part of the North Leitrim Glens: from Tarmon to Tullaghan join the athletes from all across Leitrim, from the North West, from Cork to Donegal, Antrim to Wexford, Dublin to Galway and everywhere in between and register now to walk or run for fun and support the ongoing needs of Cystic Fibrosis families and Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue.
