The final round of the North Cork League takes place this Sunday (2nd December)
in Doneraile Forest Park (R 603 076). The usual five courses will be on offer, with an
extra Brown course for those who want an additional challenge. The courses cater for a range of levels and abilities, from complete beginners to the more experienced. Qualified orienteering coach available on the day to introduce beginners to the sport.
Courses:
Brown: 12.5km
Blue: 8.8km
Green: 7.15km
Red: 5.7km
Orange: 4.0km
Yellow: 3.2km
Start times and registration are from 10am-12pm and courses close at 1.30pm. SI
electronic timing will be used on the day with SI cards available to hire at registration. The forest park is very buggy and wheelchair friendly.
In addition, Doneraile Farmers Market will be held in Doneraile Court on Sunday
with a special Christmas market along with the usual fresh and homemade produce
and arts and crafts available. The market will run from 11am-3pm.
The Tea Rooms will also be open for a well deserved cuppa after your run.
