RTE 5 mile road race on 30/04/2011 Hello again
The K Club 10k race recently was a great success with an attendance of almost 400, The feedback has been very enthusiastic and we are very grateful to Gerry Byrne and his K Club colleagues for their efforts.

Next on the list is the long-established RTE 5 mile race on Saturday next 30 April 2011 at Donnybrook. It starts at 11.00am and registration takes place at the RTE social club from 9.30am to 10.30am only. Due to the large numbers expected, you should ensure that you get there early enough to register in time.

As usual, we can expect spot prizes and surprises and it is always an event worth attending.

If you are not running on Saturday but are available to help out, Niall Mathews at RTE would be delighted to give you a job to do – call him on 087-2031724. Lots of jobs available: registration, course, finish etc.
We look forward to seeing a large turnout on Saturday.

Some other notices. The prizes for the Winter cross-country leagues will be presented on Saturday after the race. The final standings are on the BHAA website and there are lots of prize-winners (more than three in each but I can’t remember how many) so if you are in the running, please try to be there on Saturday.
Seamus Kilcullen is looking for volunteers to assist with the Arc Challenge men’s race in the Phoenix Park on the bank holiday Monday. He will be at the RTE race.
Looking forward to a great day on Saturday.
Bye for now.
