Mullagh 5k on St. Stephens Day

Blow away the Christmas cobwebs in Mullagh, County Cavan. Just 50 minutes from the M50/M3 junction at Blanchardstown, just off the M3/N3 at the County Meath/Cavan County boundary on the N3, 8 miles from Kells, Co. Meath, 6 miles from Virginia Co. Cavan this is in inaugural running of what we hope will become an annual St. Stephens Day 5k event. The race will be run over a very flat two lap course around the picturesque village of Mullagh, County Cavan, beginning at Edwin Carolan Memorial Park on the Moynalty Road, 0.5km from the village and finishing on the Main Street at the Fair Green. Changing and shower facilities, and Refreshments afterwards available in the Sports Centre. The start at 1pm will be split into 3 waves at 20 minute intervals – sub 20 minutes (1pm) sub 25 minutes (1:20pm) and over 25 minutes/walkers (1:40pm) to facilitate runners and walkers of all ability.
