Training improver day on Saturday January 16th see the camp program below.
The aim is to have 2 groups on the road which should cater for most abilities.
The main emphasis for this training day is specific training techniques, these will be practiced while out on the bike, the aim is to follow the session plan with 5 or 6 specific drills to be learned and practiced.
.
Both groups will have full back up cover with following vehicles etc. so remember to bring own spare wheels and bottles.
Training day program
Sign on at the cycling centre Kilmaine road Ballinrobe Co Mayo 9.30-10am
Camp Briefing 15mins
Spin split into 2 groups with coaches 10.15- 13.30
Shower & Lunch 13.30-14.15
Training preparation and program 14.15-15.00
Finish 15.15pm
Entry fee is €35

Have you your 2010 Goals set out ? if you haven’t already started your training for the season ahead, here are training days that will defiantly help your fitness as well as giving you a valuable insight to where your fitness level is at.
There will be 2 more dates in 2010
• Saturday the 6th of February
• Saturday the 10th of April.
There will be 2 groups spins to cater for the different abilities, spin leaves at 10am sharp, the distance will be decided on the day.
A specific session plan will be followed so that participants get the most out of the spin.
After lunch a 1hr general talk on training will take place, with handouts on a variety of topics

• Cycling specific sessions
• Pedaling and Bike position techniques
• Group riding skills
• Intensities to ride at.
• Info on what to train, for the time of year.
