Welcome to the Moylagh JFK 50 Mile Walk in Aid Of the Irish Cancer Society. Covering a spectacular region of North Meath and Westmeath. In aid of The Irish Cancer Society
Starting from Dromone at 6.00 a.m. (near Oldcastle, Co. Meath) on Saturday, 8th. June 2013
Last year we started this challenge and it was very successful raising over €47,000
The JFK 50 Mile was first held in the spring of 1963. It was one of numerous such 50 mile events held around the country as part of President John F. Kennedy’s push to bring the country back to physical fitness.
Young and old, fit and unfit, do what you can 5 – 50 mile, you decide.
Feel the sense of achievement!
The Amazing scenery on the 50 mile route will be also dotted along the way with refreshments and food stops.
