With archaeological features, red deer, shepards hut, stone circle complexes, vintage cars, biking, hiking and kayaking around a crannog lake, this adventure race is definitely unique.
This multisport event includes elite, runner and jogger categories as well as relay team entries so be assured there is something for everyone in this multi discipline challenge.
The route follows parts of the scenic Cork/Kerry Duhallow Way, giving you the opportunity to be part of the first ever group to complete this well designed, often challenging, sometimes gruelling, never boring course. Incorporating a steep offroad run to a high point of 644m above sea level, the peak of Mushra More offers superb views of the surrounding countryside. With a bike trail weaving along narrow country roads through some of Ireland’s most unspoilt countryside, this challenge will start and finish at the foothills of Munster’s Boggeragh Mountains in the unique Millstreet Country Park.
