0

Mini Muckers Halloween Monster Run is back and it’s back with a twist.

We’ve been listening to your feedback!!! Due to huge demand, this year’s Halloween Run will be opened up to not only the kids but to the adults too. We have decided that it’s time to get you off the sidelines and let the kids get their own back 🙂

So mums, dads, coaches, pull out the old sports gear because you are going to get muddy!!! Get signed up as part of a team with your kids and come have a fantastic muddy day out!!

The same rule applies, Min age is 7, no maximum

All we ask is that you let your inner child out, have a laugh & come Fancy Dress 🙂

It is a 2.5km obstacle mud run for kids aged 7yrs+ over varied terrain and water.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Min age is 7, no max age

Children participating in the race must present a copy of ID (Passport/Birth Cert) and a waiver. The ID is to prove that the child is over 7yrs and is the child stated on the waiver. We will not be keeping a copy of the ID

Adults sign a waiver on the day, similar to the one you tick as part of the registration.

Children can register as a solo entrant or as part of a team.

All adults must be registered as part of a team, they cannot register as a solo participant

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is ample parking at the venue for buses/coaches/cars but we do encourage car pooling

How long is the race?

The course is 2.5km long but everyone has the option to run a 2nd lap. Once you cross the finish line you are not allowed back on the course. This way we cater for all levels of fitness. The wave times are staggered throughout the day so this gives you the option of selecting the time that best suits you.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

Dress you and your children in lightweight, old clothing, no hoodys etc as they become heavy when wet and dirty. Shoes that can be tied on to prevent loosing them in the mud. If you come fancy dress, no capes/overalls that can catch in obstacles or rip easily.

Bring black bags, baby wipes/ sponge/ water – there will be wash down facilities available but the items listed are good to have on hand

Bring warm loose fitting clothing that you can change into easily afterwards.

There will be a valuable drop off for car keys etc but we advise to bring minimal belongings with you.

Bring snacks and water for after the race, there will be food vendors on the day selling hot food and beverages in the event you want to purchase some.

We will have photographers on the day taking photos throughout the course, if a spectator is coming with you make sure that they have their camera with them to capture the madness.

Spectators and parking is free of charge – our aim is to make our events as affordable and family friendly as possible

We ask that you do not bring your pets on the day for health and safety reasons.

Teams often run in Mini Muckers Events to raise money for their chosen charities, this is no problem at all, we encourage it, what better way for children to give back to children less fortunate

Everyone participating on the day will receive a Mini Mucker gift. Tshirts are for sale as part of your registration or a limited amount can be bought on the day.
