Ultramarathon coach Representing Ireland in the 2005 UK Athletics 100k Championships in a time of 8:18:51 Placed 6th male,

Mick a an impressive sports career as an athlete, Ultra coach but also as a race organiser, such as the well known Athenry Ac 10km on Saint Stephen Day.

Mick is one of the most humble athlete and person you might meet, his strength is not only on his feet but his strong mental attitude which help him to succeed. He is a wise man to consults for a fair and honest opinion. Mick is also writing for the "irishrunner" magazine. Winner of the Westport Half-Marathon 2006 Member of Athenry AC since 2002 3rd in the Connemara Ultra Marathon in 2005 18 Marathon races completed with a personal best finishing time of 2:48:42 in Edinburgh in 2005. Completed all Dublin City Marathons from 1999 to date. Placed 10th in the last ever (2005) London to Brighton 54 mile road race in a time of 7:04:04 Over 120 road and track races completed at all distances from 400m to 100k.
