The annual maugherow 10k road race and walk takes place on the 7th of june. This is race 4 in the sligo road race league.
The route begins at maugherow church and winds through country roads before looping around raughley harbour. This offers some of the most breathtaking views in the nortwest with views of knocknarea and benbulben before finishing again at maugherow church.
Walkers and kids race start at 6.00 with the run away at 6.30.Registration only on the day. €12. Registration open from 4.30 at maugherow hall(across the road from the church).
