This Adventure challenge event will include a new 5k run, 20k cycle and a water challenge and will form part of the famous Mary from Dungloe Festival, this adventure challenge is set in the most scenic areas on the west coast of County Donegal. It will kick off with a 5k run from the Maghery Community Centre around a natural loop taking you past Maghery grave yard , back to Maghery beach, running one length of Maghery strand before returning to the maghery center, the 20k cycle will take participants back towards Dungloe Town veering right outside the town towards Derrydruel, along the coast road with Traigh Eanach Bay towards Meenacross and around the tough climbs of Falcorrib, Falmore and Crohey Head and back to the start. The final part of the challenge will challenege swimmers and non swimmers to either swim or wade the 350meter Maghery Beach finishing at the Maghery Sports Field. All individulal abilities welcome including relay team events.
