Ray D’Arcy’s LauraLynn Half Marathon & 5k run in The Phoenix Park Dublin, on Saturday 11th December in aid of LauraLynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice

Online registration is now open for the first physical running/walking event in the Phoenix Park of this size in over 2 years – Ray D’Arcy’s LauraLynn Half Marathon & 5k in aid of Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice.

Further details can be found on the LauraLynn Website and online registration can be submitted on the Registration Form.

Speaking to RunIreland.com LauraLynn race organiser Gillian Neary commented:  “We’re really excited about seeing people come out and make every step count.  There will be a Half Marathon and a 5km route, not to mention a chance to run alongside Ray himself who will be taking part.  Places are limited though, so I’m encouraging people to sign up now to avoid disappointment.”

Registration costs vary (5km = €25 /Half Marathon = €45) and all participants are being asked to raise or donate €100 to LauraLynn.

Entry includes a special event t-shirt, race number and a bespoke D’Arcy’s LauraLynn Half Marathon & 5k Medal.

LauraLynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice is currently celebrating a decade of caring for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.  More than 522 children and 2,000 mums, dads, siblings, grandparents and family members have been cared for by the charity during this time.  LauraLynn depends on fundraised income to fund its specialist service (67% operational costs) nationally.
