Longwood will be hosting its 2nd annual 5Km Road Race, Fun Run and Walk on Sunday 16th October 2011 at 3pm. The event is organised by Longwood GAA (in aid of supporting our teams) and the local St Vincent de Paul. The course is right handed and relatively flat. Registration is available on-line at www.runireland.com or on the day from 1.30pm to 2.45pm at the Longwood GAA Clubhouse. Parking, Changing facilities and Showers are all available at the Clubhouse. Prizes 1st Man, 1st Woman , 1st Veteran and Fancy Dress Spot Prizes. Refreshments and Live Music will take place in the Clubhouse after the event.
Longwood is situated in the south of Co Meath approx 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre and 10 minutes from Trim Town. It is easily assessed off the N4 roadway approximately 3Km from Enfield on the Galway Road and also off the M4 motorway at Enfield Junction.
