The Laois 10K Mini-Marathon will take place on Sunday 19 October commencing at 12,00 noon from the Maldron Hotel, Abbeyleix Road, Portlaoise. Online registration is available at the rate of 15 Euro on www.runireland.com and www,ActiveWorks.com Late registration will be accepted on the day of the event at the rate of 20 Euro.It is chip-timed event The event is designed as a Fun Day Out for all the family.It is a very popular activity, now in it’s fifth year. Medals will be presented to each participant and refreshments will be available. The proceeds will go towards the Carers Association in order to maintain key services to over 187,000 family carers throughout Ireland.
