The eight Killarney Lions Club Mini Marathon commences at 3pm on Sunday May 23rd 2010. The starting point is the Killarney Plaza Hotel.
The route will take participants through the splendour of Killarney National Park, taking in Ross Castle and the Lakes of Killarney. The finishing line will be set near Deenagh Lodge, just inside the entrance gates to the National Park, opposite St. Mary’s Cathedral.
Previous Mini Marathons have attracted participants from throughout Ireland, with over three hundred participants taking part in some. Among the many categories there will be a veterans men (over 40) and a veteran ladies (over 35).
This is a great day out and is in aid of very good causes as always This years beneficiaries are the Kerry Hospice and the Deenagh Lodge Downs Syndrome Project.
