Ossory Youth in association with Gowran Athletic Club are hosting a 5km fun run/walk in celebration of youth in Kilkenny on Sunday 22nd April in the Castle Park at 11am. This is the final event in a series of introductory runs/walks that Gowran Athletic Club is hosting for the second year, catering for walkers and beginner runners.
The first event is on Sunday 1st April is 2km, followed by 3km on Sunday 15th and finishing with 5km on Sunday 22nd, allowing people who are new to running to build towards the 5km.
Registration will be available on the day outside the castle gates from 10am. The cost for entry is €5 adults, €3 teenagers and €1 for under 12’s. Children and buggies are welcome and t-shirts for those that complete the series
