The Kilkee Half Marathon is part of the inaugral Kilkee Sports Festival whick takes place in Kilkee from the 27th of August to the 28th of August. The half marathon is probably the most scenic course in the country with the route taking participants out the fantastic Loop Head Peninsula. Those of you who are are familiar with the Hell of the West Triathlon will recognise the route as the half marathon goes out the Dunlicky road to a turn around point and back to the Kilkee.
