The Kilfinane Conservation Committee have organised this 5 mile road race/fun run/walk on 31st October at 12.30pm in order to raise funds for the redevelopment of the old Protestant Church in the town. Registration will take place on the day in the Maple Ball Room from 11.30am with the race scheduled to start at 12.30pm. Refreshments will be served in the Maple Ballroom after the race. The entry fee is €10 euros for runners and €5 for walkers and will go directly towards the redevelopment of the old church. There will be prizes for the top 3 in both the mens and womens categories. The course is relatively flat and is on quiet country roads around Kilfinane and will certainly benefit runners aiming for a personal best.
