Following last years successful race and the comments on the course and the organisation of the event by all athletes it has been decided to again hold the 10km and 5km races.
Entry Fee: – 10km and 5km Race – (€15 on line entry on www.precisiontiming.net) €20 on the day – Juveniles (U17s) €5 registering on the evening. If registering on the evening please come early to ensure race starts on time.
The race is run on a Flat Left Handed Measured IAAF Certified Course (Through country roads), Starting and finishing at the Club Grounds, Kilbride Village, Co Meath, turning left from the Club grounds onto the Ratoath Road, Turning 1st left onto the Priestown Road, continue through junction on to the Belgree Road and take 1st Left passing Rennicks Factory and then the next left again back on to the Ratoath Road and back to the Club grounds completing the 5KM Race. The 10Km race will follow the same route as the 5KM route for a second lap.
Directions : Kilbride Villlage is only 13 miles from Dublin City Centre, only 3 miles from Blanchardstown, Ratoath, Ashbourne, Clonee, and only one mile from Hollystown Golf Club on the Ratoath Road.
M3 Route , From Navan/Dunshaughlin direction, exit the Ratoath/Dunboyne exit, take 1st exit off roundabout, continue for a short distance and take 1st right at Plantagen Garden Center, turn left at T Junction and continue on (make sure you veer right at junction a short distance down the road) through two crossroads into Kilbride Village
N3 ROUTE From Dublin take the Clonee exit off the N3, continue straight through Clonee Village and at the roundabout turn right. Travel over the N3 and go straight through the next roundabout and follow the signs to Kilbride villiage, taking the 2nd right and then the next right and on straight throught the next crossroads into the village.
N2 ROUTE From Dublin/M50, Turn off N2 at Exit 2, Take 1st exit at bottom of ramp, go straight through two roundabouts and at the third roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the Hollystown / Ratoath road continue into Kilbride Village. Alternatively Turn for Kilbride village almost opposite the "Coolquay Lodge" on the old Ashbourne Road which is approx 3 Miles south of Ashbourne or 5/6 miles north of Finglas. Continue approximately 2 miles to T junction. Turn Left and into Kilbride village.
From Blanchardstown take routes either through Mulhuddart/Tyrrelstown or Ballycoolin to Hollystown, Continue out the Ratoath Road past the Esso Service Station and Hollystown Golf Course until you enter the village of Kilbride.
From Ratoath Village From centre of Village take road to Ashbourne/Swords. Go through roundabout and take the next right. Continue straight into the village of Kilbride.
Race Start is at the centre of the Village. Parking at Kilbride GFC grounds or Church car park.
