Trophies for 1st 3 men and women as well as Over 40/50/60/70/80 Men and Women.
There will also be prizes for GAA runners and locals to be announced.

Last year we had over 600 runners and walkers at the event and the excellent organistaion ensured that everybody was parked, registered, entertained and kept warm on what was frankly a stinker of a day. The course starts and finishes at the centre and is a one lap undulating course through some of the attractive local by-ways. The first 1K is on the main road back towards Roscommon turning left at roughly a mile to fall down to the 5K point so a fast first half is guaranteed. The race then turns back to climb on the main road to Strokestown to the 6K point and turns left back onto the country roads once more and climbs steadily from the 8K point to the finish with the last 1.5 K on the main road back to Roscommon with the church in sight at the top of the hill. It is a fast course as long as you conserve your reserves.
