Hey guys, Race is this coming Sunday the 29th of March in Malahide Castle. Registration is in the same place as last year, in the car park beside the castle. The park opens at 9 o’clock and registration will be open from then up until 10.30am. We will have a separate start for walkers at 10.40am and then runners will start at 11am. Numbers and a sign on sheet need to be collected and signed before the race starts. A sponsorship form is attached to this mail, last year most of the money raised for the Irish Cancer Society came through runners getting sponsored for the race. It’d be great if people were to print it off and try to raise what they can in work/from friends/family for a great cause! This could be given in on the day or sent on after the race. If you do have it on the day, prizes will be given out to the runners that have raised the most money on the sponsor forms. There will also be prizes for the top 3 females and top 3 males as well as a vet prize for both sexes. Last year was a small bit longer than the 5km but we have altered it slightly so anyone re-racing will have a good chance at a PB and a new course record!!
Also, a big thank you to all our sponsors for the day, Amphibian King, Postbank and Louis Copeland who came on board again this year, Piranha Triathlon club who are running the race, Triathlon Ireland for providing cover and support on the day and Gibney’s of Malahide who have joined up this year to help out as well!
Looking forward to a great day!
Gavin
