Welcome to the 1st Annual IT Sligo Knocknarea Arena 5k Fun Run and Walk. All runners and walkers are welcome to the event. Entry for this event is €10 online and €12 to register on the day. The race is a fast 5k, starting in the grounds of IT Sligo and then taking a loop around the outside of IT Sligo before finishing on the International Standard Athletics Arena at the Knocknarea Arena. The Knocknarea Arena will be the headquarters for registration, changing facilities, refreshments and prizegiving after the run. Registration will take place from 10am on the day. Prizegiving for the Sligo Credit Union Road Race League will take place after this event in the Knocknarea Arena. An AAI Permit has been granted for this event.
