RESCHEDULED DATE FOR 18TH MARCH 2011. PADDY’S WEEKEND ! None
After careful consideration we have taken the decision to completely reschedule Inis Iron Meáin 2011 until next March. In hindsight, the rescheduling of the event last week from the 15th to the 22nd of October did not give people adequate notice as many of you have other commitments for that date
As a result, over half of our participants could not make the rescheduled date and a decision had to be taken regarding the viability of going ahead with the event at this time.
The bank holiday weekend of Sunday the 18th of March 2012 was agreed upon and we believe that hope this will be more favourable for the majority of you. Paddy’s weekend is very unique here on the island and it will allow the oportunity to join in the festivities!
We sincerely apologise for all the toing and froing and we hope that we haven’t caused you too much inconvenience.
