Enter while you can…. Kenmare one of Ireland’s most beautiful towns hosts the third annual Humpty Dumpty Duathlon on Sat Oct 29th. A great opportunity to partake in a friendly well organised event be it your first duathlon or a veteran of many you are sure to enjoy a 40k cycle and a run into town followed by a complimentary hot meal from Kenmare’s best chefs.
Come to Kenmare for a duathlon that will see you cycle a circuit of the town following a safety car then open your lungs to Moll’s Gap and follow the road in the direction of Sneem but turning left at Direendaragh and back in via Blackwater, 40K of beautiful scenery and yes a bit challenging in places….a short 6k run in a loop and finishing in the local school where a tasty hot meal is served in appreciation of you taking part. All proceeds go to three organisations…Kenmare Hospital Patients Fund, Kenmare Underage Rugby and Bee for Battens. A great event to do individually or as a team, same entry fee.
