8th Annual Headford8k takes place on July 7th Every year in July the town of Headford plays host to the Headford 8k Charity Road Race. Now in its 8th year the race continues to grow in popularity and last year saw over 250 participants from all over the country taking part.
This years race takes place on Saturday 7th July at 7PM in the town of Headford. Technical t-shirts for all finishers, refreshments after the race, Walkers welcome. More information on www.headford8k.com and online entry available now at https://www.runireland.com/events/headford8km
All the proceeds from the race go to charities supporting children with disabilities. The race has raised over €20,000 since it started and provides valuable additional funds to support children with disabilities in their own communities such as short breaks, respite and in-home supports.
