The Half on the Head (Kerryhad Half Marathon) is one of the most scenic runs in Ireland. Beginning at Ballyheigue Beach the route takes you through rolling country side to the mouth of the Shannon with stunning views of the Clare coast before looping around the point of Kerryhead and coming back along Tralee Bay with spectacular views of Mouth Brandon, the Maheree Islands and Banna strand.
