5 Mile Steeplechase Road Race – October 23rd, GAA clubs welcome to enter On October 23rd at 2pm, Awbeg Valley Athletic Club will host hundreds of walkers and runners who will travel from the steeple of one church to the steeple of another over 5 miles in the stunning surrounds of Doneraile Park and Village. The event is open to Individuals, Athletic Clubs, GAA Clubs, Corporate and Other Teams and will also feature a relay event comprised of 3 individuals. This event is an AAI permit approved event and has been accurately measured and is being promoted by Awbeg Valley Athletic Club.
