The Great Ballaghmore 5km Run will take place on Sunday the 17th May 2015 commencing at 12.00. The 5km run through scenic and quite country roads commences from the village of Ballaghmore which is just off the old N7 between Borris In Ossory and Roscrea. The race which is now in its 4th year is going from strength to strength thanks to the support of the local community and all the runners and walkers that have particpated in recent years. The race is well stewarded with water stops at the start and finish line and at the 2.5km mark.
Ballaghmore is only a half hour drive from either Portlaoise, Thurles or Nenagh with other neighbouring towns such as Roscrea, Birr and Templemore even closer. So why not come and join us on the day for a bit of fun.
