The Glendalough Trail race provides a fantastic running experience with a route that is scenic, challenging and safe. Not only will it be a fun, enjoyable day for you but it also raises much needed funds for Fighting Blindness

The trail is totally free of traffic and is generally on forest trails with about 600m on a muddy forest trail and one short 300m section of tarmac path close to the iconic Glendalough upper lake.

Start Time: 11am for main field – Limited early start fat 10.30 or walkers and slow joggers

9 – 10:30am = Sign-On (For those Pre-registered only) & Number/ Timing Chip  Collection at the Brockagh Centre, Laragh              
11am = Race Start close to Glendalough Hotel (Assemble at hotel for briefing at 10.45am)

    To run it all is for the fit sorts indeed but the trail nature means that most will walk at least some of the trail and some indeed walk it all and start a little earlier 910.30)

    If confident of doing a 20k walk or run in your own time you should be fine
