A 5K fun run has been organised in aid of Ger Keane. Ger is a well known Shannon man. He was involved in a hit & run in spain in May 2006 and suffered a brain injury. It is now 4 years since his accident and has made a good recovery, however his home has never had any adaptions made to make it wheelchair accessible since his accident.
A funrun has been organised for July 3rd to fundraise for Ger in order that he can have the work done to his home to make his life easier, his home more accessible and safer. We thank you for reading this and hopefully you will join us on the day and give us your support.
The run starts at illaunemanagh Car Park at 2pm and finishes at the Shannon Knights in the Shannon Town Centre.
