Galway – Women’s Triathlon Training

As part of Triathlon Ireland’s Women in Sport program we will be holding a training day in Galway on the 3rd of May. None

 The training day is aimed at women of all ages and abilities, who are keen to learn more about the sport and how to get involved. We have received some great feedback from the courses and will cover all aspects of training along with what to eat, what to wear and preparing for an event.

Whether you are just thinking about doing a relay, aquathlon, duathlon, try-a-tri or sprint triathlon or you are looking to improve your times this training day will be ideal for you!

Studio D, Kingfisher Club, NUI Galway.

Objectives & Learning’s:
Introduce new people or beginners to the sport
Learn skills of training – swim, bike, run, transitions.
Speak with TI & club representatives about their club training environment
Prepare for an upcoming relay, tri-a-tri or sprint triathlon.
