New Trail Running event for Galway For 2012 Gaelforce events are adding a number of new events to their calender. This series will include a number of run trail runs plus other events around the country. The first of these events will take place on St. Patricks Day in Leenane Co. Galway.
For 2012 Gaelforce events are adding a number of new events to their calender. This series will include a number of run trail runs plus other events around the country. The first of these events will take place on St. Patricks Day in Leenane Co. Galway. This will include, a sea kayaking race, trail run and family activities. The trail run will be a challenging 15km trail run, which will cover a number of terrains including bog, gravel and forest track. Competitors will enjoy the splendour of Connemara as the Maamturks reign over them as they make their way from Inagh valley back to Killary Fjord. This will be a brilliant challenge and great training for any adventure race. The organisers are planning to make the day a family friendly with fun activities for the family to take part in. There will be great value on the Giant Swing, Climbing wall and Canoeing. The activities will be open all day so that families can catch all the action of the events as well as taking part in their own activities at a time that suits them. The whole day will be finished off with a BBQ and the prize giving in Killary Adventure Centre. A great fun and different way to spend a St.Patricks day for the whole family!
