Wicklow Gaol break Half marathon 24th March are pleased to announce that the new flatter course has been approved. The race located in the scenic & coastal Wicklow town (only 35mins from Dublin) has been a favourite with many over the years. It is renowned for its great atmosphere due to starting and finishing in Wicklow’s Historical Gaol.
The 10km has also been changed with both races now going out The Murragh first. The new half marathon course is 1/3 flatter than the previous. See it here
Entrants will receive a chip timing, a training top, medal, shower in Coral Leisure and soup & roll after the race. Water will be in bottles for the half marathon.
The race has attracted entrants from Ireland and beyond. You get the scenic mix of Town, a Port, Coastal and farmland to keep you interested along the course. Both races also finish down hill!!
