On Sunday July 27th the main event takes place. 2’500 athletes from more than 60 countries start their 226km journey. A 3,8k swim in the crystal-clear water which is by the way of drinking water quality, is followed by a spectacular 180,2k bike course with some challenging climbs, where the atmosphere conveys an Alpe d´Huez feeling. The concluding 42,2k run course leads the athletes through the parks of the city and along the lake shore.
