The annual Enniscorthy 10K will take place on Sunday February 9th 2014 at 12.00pm. Any profits from the race go to the Slaney Olympic AC Development Fund. The course is AAI certified and there will be chip timing. As well as a generous prize fund there will be plenty of spot prizes throughout the field. After the race there will be tea/coffee and sandwiches for all participants.
There are winners prizes of €250 for the 1st man and woman. Cash prizes will be awarded to 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th men and women as well as to first man/woman in categories U19, 40 plus, 50 plus, 60 plus and 70 plus. There will also be a €200 prize for the first men’s and women’s teams (4 runners per team) and €100 for second teams. There is a €250 Course Record bonus for both men and women.The men’s record stands at 29.35 (Mark Christie, 2011) and the women’s record is 32.52(Linda Byrne, 2012) For a map of the route go to:
