24-hour track race on Friday,July 22 starting at 1845. The venue is the Mary Peters track in Belfast and,as it’s her track, Dame Mary will start the race. £500 prize to man and woman who goes the furthest.Last year’s men’s winner was Thomas Maguire. He went 203.89kms.The women’s winner was Lynne Hanna. She went 145.24kms. Open to all but doubling as Irish 24-Hour Championship and carries world governing body Bronze Label. Entry limited to 50.Entry fee is £50 or equivalent. A 12-Hour race has been added this year.Also a 24-Hour Relay for teams of 4(must include at least one woman).
