This road run/walk is a fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society. The 5-Mile Easter Bunny Run will be the first Road Race to finish on top of Waterford Cities new Nature Park with fantastic views of Waterford City. The 5mile route is generally a flat fast course which will suit a lot of well established runners, also flat enough for families and kids to get out and participate in the event and enjoy the day.
What a better way to banish the excesses of Easter Eggs and kick-start summer 2013. The race will start at the Kingfisher, Tramore Rd and finish in the adjoining Nature Park. A balloon launch will take place post race from the top of the park to commemorate the event and should be a great spectacle.
Race starts at 11am sharp, Balloon launch 12:30pmapprox. Registration from 9-am at Kingfisher Leisure Centre.
Cost of entry is E12 for runners, E10 for Walkers and children are free.
