Runners Information
*Both the full and half marathon start at 9AM from Strand St. in Dingle town.
*The half marathon finishes near Dunquin (outside Crugers pub) where provisions are made available and then buses are provided for the return in to Dingle town.
*The full marathon does a full loop of the peninsula, finishing in Dingle Town(See race map in course section)
*The cost of the full and half is €60, when booked before June 30th. The cost increases to €70 from July 1st.
*A runners pack with your number, information and chip will be sent to your address from the end of August.
*The chip will be already be assigned to your unique number.
*Please write your details and medical information on the reverse of the number.
*There is no registration required before the marathon, all details will be included in the pack (which is sent to the address provided on line). You will arrive ready to go!
General Information
The Dingle marathon is an annual event with the 2010 event taking place on September the 4th.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for best times in both the half and the full for both men and women. There will also be specially crafted Louis Mulcahy pieces for all 1st places’.
