Entries filling up fast The Dingle, Half, Full and Ultra Marathon is in full swing and preparations are well and truly under way for what will be the biggest Dingle Marathon event to date. Already over 60% of the allocated places have been filled. Dingle marathon has proven itself to be a ‘must do’ event on every runners calendar. Previous years have seen spectacular sun shine and a weekend experience like no other. Anybody who has ran Dingle each year has vowed to return to an amazingly scenic and stuning route.
This year will see the return of the awesome 50 mile ultra marathon. This incredible route is probably the most testing and jaw dropping 50 miles available to run anywhere in Ireland. This year we are also introducing the ‘Trad Trail’ which is a fun way to see and follow local musicians throughout the various pubs in Dingle town. A massif ‘Pig on a Spit’ BBQ will also take place during the afternoon. We also have a powerful drum ceremony to add to the many musical and cultural festivities which will take place this year.
