**** Many thanks to all of you who have signed up for this inaugural road race. Numbers are looking good and it promises to be a good evening all round. Registration on the night will be open from 6:00pm to hand out numbers and timings chips and also to take new sign up registrations. Refreshments will be available post race and the club will be presenting prizes at this time. There will also be a number of spot prizes awarded on the evening as well.

 

Heather Jameson, one of the junior club members, has been selected to represent Ireland at the London Paralympics 2012 in August/September. Heather has just returned from the Junior World games in the Czech Republic where she won 5 medals in total. The club are hosting a benefit night for Heather in the Snailbox on August 10th and tickets are €15:00 and will be available on the night of the road race should you wish to purchase any.*****

 

Founded in 1972, Cushinstown Athletics Club, Co. Meath, is holding its inaugural 6km Road Race on Wednesday 25th July 2012. Race Start time is 7:30pm. Starting at Pudden Hill Activity centre it promises to be an entertaining event for all levels of participant.

Suitable for all levels of competitor from club runners to walkers, why not take part in this evening event in historical Co. Meath
