After a very successful inaugrual marathon in 2007, the Cork City Marathon organisers anticipate a significant increase in participants for 2008. Early entry is advised and…it’s cheaper! A staggered entry fee system is in place for 2008, with the 2007 rates applying only until the end of March.
The race takes place on the (Irish) June Bank Holiday Monday, June 2nd 2008. The course will again start and finish on St Patrick’s Street and will cover a clockwise circuit of the suburbs, stepping into the county to the east and west. For the most part, the course will follow the 2007 route, but please note that it is still subject to confirmation.
Regular updates will be posted on our website at www.corkcitymarathon.ie.
A staggered entry fee system is in place for 2008.
