The inaugural Ballymanus GFC 10km run / 5km run / family walk takes place on Sat. 3 Sept at 10.30 and is sure to be an enjoyable event for all. The 10km looped route is mostly rough wooded terrain through Ballycurra and Coole woods. It has a challenging incline of 1.5 km in the 1st 5km but is mostly moderate otherwise with incredibly scenic views. It will begin and end at Ballymanus GFC field in Askinagap, 5km from Aughrim, Co. Wicklow. 10km run fee will be €15 plus booking fee, 5km €10 plus booking fee. Online registration on www.gorun.ie. It will be chipped and timed and refreshments will be served afterwards.
