Lace up and experience the first ever flat fast run through Belfast City’s newest landmarks. Take in the beauty of East Belfast’s CS Lewis Square, Victoria Park, Connswater Greenway, Sam Thompson Bridge and the Harbour Estate.
Connswater 10K & 5K is the newest community running event in the Belfast running Calendar. This exciting new event has been organised by Move a Muscle, a Social Enterprise organisation, established with the objective of helping people improve their physical and mental health through exercise. Our first event will be held at CS Lewis Square on the 20th August 2017 @ 10am. This will consist of a 10K, 5K and children’s fun run.
Our chosen Charity for 2017 is AWARE, the national depression Charity for Northern Ireland, who operate services across East Belfast including their weekly depression support group in Holywood Arches Health Centre every Tuesday evening at 7pm.
