On Saturday Sept 23rd2017, Kilkenny will host its first ever Adventure Race. Based in the beautiful grounds of Castlecomer’s Discovery Park www.discoverypark.ie .Athletes from all over Ireland and beyond will take on a choice of three Races. The Elite 77km option, a Sport 56km option and a 30km Challenge. This will have participants running through the trails and forest of the Park and through the abandoned open cast mine that is such a part of Castlecomer’s heritage.
