NCTC and Athletics Ireland The NCTC and Athletics Ireland will be offering the opportunity for experienced international athletes at Senior level to gain a level 2 coaching qualification through an assimilation process with the NCTC assimilation scheme. Athletics Ireland wishes to encourage former International athletes who are currently or interested in becoming involved with coaching in this country.
The course will take place in the University of Limerick on the 11th and 12th of October.

Places on the course are limited and will be awarded on a basis of international experience and involvement in coaching. However this form of assimilation will be on an annual basis so athletes are free to reapply in the future if they are unsuccessful this time round
