Does the idea of running in one of Ireland’s most scenic areas appeal to you? Do you enjoy a challenge?

Then look no further. The Clifden Lifeboat 10k is the run for you. Online entry for this event, which is now in its 7th year is now open! This unique event takes place in Clifden, Connemara and participants make their way up the Sky Road in an out and back course, both starting and finishing in Clifden.

The event is run in memory of 18 years old Mikey Mullen, who died along with 3 other fishermen when the MVF St Oliver sank off the west coast in 2004. All funds raised go to the Clifden RNLI. This race is a definite must do if you are looking for a fun and well organised race with a great atmosphere. So challenge yourself and enter one of Ireland’s best ‘smaller’ running event this year. The Clifden Lifeboat 10k is open to all levels of abilities from first time timers to professionals and can be walked, jogged or run. Teams are welcome too. So come to the west this September and register for the Clifden Lifeboat 10k, and help support a great cause at the same time.

The route was accurately measured by AAI officials, AAI permit applied for. Sponsorship forms are voluntary.

Medals will be given to all finishers. Individuals or teams of 3 people are welcome. Trophies for: ·First male/female, 1st and 2nd male/female U 40, U50 and 50 and over
